Natural Creations - Serving Southeast Ohio

Harvest & Harmony Was a Hit: Thank You, Lancaster, and Meet the Vendors Who Made It Happen

The tents are down, the autumn decorations are tucked away, and the dust has settled on our very first Harvest & Harmony Festival at Natural Creations. Now that we've had a little time to catch our breath, we want to say the thing we've been wanting to say since September 13th:

Thank you, Lancaster.

Over three days, September 11–13, our grounds on Old Logan Road filled with neighbors, families, friends, and first-time visitors who came to browse, shop small, snack, and spend a fall weekend together. Admission was free, the weather cooperated, and the community showed up in the best possible way.

What Made the Weekend Special

When we first dreamed up Harvest & Harmony, the idea was simple: bring Southeast Ohio's makers, bakers, growers, and craftspeople together in one place, surround them with the sights and smells of a working garden center in fall, and invite the whole community to come celebrate.

What we got was better than we pictured.

Shoppers found one-of-a-kind finds. Handmade wreaths, hand-dyed fibers, baskets, jewelry, pressed-flower art, custom woodwork, and more. These are things you simply cannot buy at a big-box store, made by people who were standing right there to tell you how they did it.

People ate well. Between the sourdough, cinnamon rolls, cake pops, cookies, candy, popcorn, and home-baked goods, nobody walked away hungry.

Neighbors met neighbors. That might be our favorite part. Between the aisles of vendors and the greenhouse, we watched friends bump into each other, kids chase down their favorite treats, and makers swap stories with customers who became fans on the spot.

The greenhouse had its moment, too. Visitors wandered through Natural Creations while they were here, and plenty of them discovered us for the first time. If that was you, welcome. We're so glad you came.

Why Events Like This Matter

Every purchase at a vendor table stays in our community. It supports a family who bakes bread at their kitchen counter, someone who crochets in the evenings after work, a woodworker with a garage full of tools, a small business owner who took a chance on a first festival. When Lancaster shops small, Lancaster wins.

We're a locally rooted garden center, and we've always believed our grounds can be more than a place to buy plants. Harvest & Harmony showed us what's possible when we open the gates and invite everyone in.

Just went to this place for the first time, they had a nice selection of plants with prices comprable to most other nurseries and department stores.

I recently moved to Lancaster and was referred to another company. They were fine. They mowed. Due to a scheduling issue, I reached out to Natural Creations. I was amazed at the work they did! What a difference!! Highly recommend!

Excellent little greenhouse that is close to home. Prices are extremely reasonable, and everything is well organized. They have a great selection of petunias, from Supertunias to Easy Waves to other harder to find varieties like the Danziger Ray Black and Amazonas Plum Cockatoo. The staff provided great customer service and I look forward to coming back
